We will paint the colorful arroyos, rivers, fields and adobe buildings that are found in the Southwest region of our country. Schedule: On location daily from 9am - 4pm, with two or three demos during the week. Students will have plenty of time to paint in the best of light. There will be lots of hands-on time for painting and daily critiques, plus a general critique of each student's week's work on Friday. The focus of the workshop
is to learn to "see" the brilliant and subtle colors of the
landscape and to apply them to your paintings with excitement. You will
learn how to keep that which stimulates you to paint, and prevent what
you see from growing old and tiresome. Workshop Fee: $600 Includes on and off-site learning, lodging, breakfast and lunch fixings, and limited transportation. A deposit of $150 is required to reserve your space, with the balance due by July 15, 2010. No money will be refunded after July 15, unless your space can be filled. I am looking forward to meeting and painting with you. Please remit to: |
